Therapeutic choice
The information given to the patient must be accessible and fair.The patient participates in the therapeutic choices that concern him/her and can be assisted by a trusted person.
Consent
A medical procedure can only be performed with the free and informed consent of the patient, who has the right to refuse any treatment.
Respect for decisions
The hospitalized person may, subject to exceptions provided for by law, leave the establishment at any time after having been informed of the possible risks to which they are exposed.
Accessing medical records
The hospitalized or deceased person (or their legal representatives) has access to health information concerning them.
